Quiz Practice App

ECE 420 · Wireless Communications · NC State University

Background: This app draws its questions from the actual weekly true/false quizzes (and their make-up versions) given throughout ECE 420, covering every module of the course: path loss and link budgets, shadowing and fading, cellular systems, OFDM, spread spectrum (DSSS/FHSS), MIMO, and the information-theory/coding sequence (entropy, mutual information, source coding, channel coding). Each question is tagged by topic so you can practice broadly or drill into a specific area.

Description of This Web Application: Pick how many questions you want (5, 10, 20, or 30) and where they should come from — either a Uniform mix spread evenly across every quiz in the course, or a Topic Focus where you type (or click a suggested chip for) a topic like "OFDM" or "channel models" and the app pulls matching questions. Each question gives you up to 30 seconds, shown as a draining timer bar; answer True or False and hit Next (or let the timer run out, which counts the question as missed and auto-advances). At the end you get your raw score, a timer-based score (correct answers + total seconds of unused time banked across the quiz, rewarding both accuracy and speed), and a review screen where you can page back through every question to see exactly which ones you got wrong and what the correct answer was.
